CLUB FURAM
The club was established in 2020 when the children from our snowboarding school, FURAM, wanted more than just weekly courses and individual lessons. We started with a year-round school and rode with the youngest every weekend during the winter season. In a couple of years, we have made remarkable progress, both in terms of program attendance and the quality of snowboarding. Our goal has always been to introduce children to this sport through learning, and we knew this would be the next step for our school. The FURAM club is now growing alongside our riders, and every year we add new programs and activities. We regularly participate in snowboarding competitions and constantly think about how the children can have even more fun and be even more successful. We also invest heavily in the development of new teaching techniques and the use of didactic tools. We also collaborate with the Ski Association of Slovenia and the Demo team, working together to develop new perspectives and activities for snowboarding here. In our club, children and teenagers from 4 to 18 years old are now having fun.
TRAININGS
The trainings take place every weekend, mostly at Krvavec. Depending on the conditions, we also visit other ski resorts.
COMPETITONS
Our club is one of the organizers of the Snowboard Kids Tour competitions, which are part of the national cup. In the following years, we will continue to organize competitions and various events for young snowboarders. Our young riders are regularly on the podium and are also among the national champions.
MULTI-DAY SNOWBOARD TRIPS ABROAD
During the holidays, we will go abroad for a few days (Hintertux, Kaprun, Les 2 Alpes, ...). Additionally, during the season, we will visit nearby ski resorts in Austria (Flachauwinkl, Planai, ...). The snowboard parks set up at these resorts are of a very high standard. They have features suitable for the youngest as well as for the best snowboarders in the world. Here, children progress faster and socialize with the biggest stars in snowboarding worldwide. On these multi-day camps, children create memories for a lifetime.
ACROBATICS
Snowboarding is a sport where body awareness and motor skills are crucial. Without dryland acrobatics training, modern freestyle snowboarding sessions cannot yield the necessary results for competitive performance in major competitions. The training will take place in gymnastic centers under the expert guidance of acrobatics coaches.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES
After the winter season, we will organize summer camps. We will also have fun at nearby adventure parks, learn the basics of climbing, skateboarding, and enjoy activities like trampolining, and more. During the summer, we will spend a day on the snow at the Planica sports center.
